Design is not only about making things.
It is a powerful approach to solving wicked problems that affect people and the planet.

Also tune in to some global social innovation conversation from the Nesta LabWorks Global Gathering, focused on solving society’s biggest challenges.

Daniel Mohr from InWithForward will talk about the Fifth Space project. The Fifth Space grounds design thinking in disability services practice. Daniel has had great success with the Fifth Space in Canada and he is now spear-heading the Fifth Space in Australia. He will talk about his experiences building design capability amongst non-designers.

Jax Wechsler from Sticky Design Studio will talk about some of her recent work with NSW Family and Community Services, helping them build co-design capability and deliver more person-centred services for young people under the care of the Minister.
